Luiz next to Gana ideally. I’m not sure many will agree but the player I’ve seen most suited for what I’d like on the right is Doak. Only concerns I’d have is whether his injuries might have an impact.

I would argue that not being obsessed enough with it is one of the reasons we got ourselves into such problems. That being said, you're right, you need some players at the peak of their powers
  • toffeeblue9
You're right, of course, but if he had 3 good years here we'd be left with a player with not much of a sell-on value. That's always a consideration. That being said, as long as the rest of your trading is younger players who you can make profit...

Not on his Twitter feed no. It’s a podcast thing with him and Romano.

I'd be delighted, but I can't find a single mention of Luiz and Everton from Moretto

Copper wiring makes me think they're going to be illuminated at night. Not sure whether white or blue would be better for this

If he was being signed for £25m or so, work permit wouldn't be an issue - things have changed a lot since Brexit and international caps are no longer a problem if you sign the player for enough money

Don't have any issues in principle of collaborating with Roma on deals, it's one of the things you'd expect from a multi-club situation. I think what we'd all probably raise eyebrows about, however, would be the fact that we are being told we...

Perfectly decent defensive full back. Offers zero in an attacking sense, but there's a theme beginning to emerge with these full backs we are being linked with in that regard, so wouldn't surprise me if there was something in it
  • toffeeblue9
All true, but the post-Brexit work permit scheme actually simplifies it a bit - used to be that you needed international caps etc. Now, if the transfer fee being paid is large enough, there's no issue re work permits
  • toffeeblue9
The fee would make a work permit a formality

Not saying he cant pass, but he gives you no more than Mykolenko from the point of view of overlapping, quality in build up and delivery into the box. Given we have a system where our left winger is encouraged to tuck in very narrow, lack of...

Crikey. I’m not in that place. Going with Beto as number one for me is a big risk
  • toffeeblue9
There will be plenty of people who think this is a decent move, but I'd be really disappointed. We are screaming out for quality in possession and delivery from left back. If we signed Tagliafico we'd have two defensively sound left backs who are...

Kinnear, as the CEO, shouldn't have a say on which players a club targets. That should be the responsibility of the recruitment dep't and/or the manager, depending on the model. As CEO he's meant to get the entire business running smoothly, you...
