This time 2 years ago we had just lost 6-0 to Chelsea, leaving us right in the relegation mix. Our starting line up now has 7 of those that started v Chelsea.
The progression under Moyes has been massive.
Recruitment however, has been dreadful.
Great post. I saw on GOT Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford etc described as 'hipster clubs' whose very existence it is to trade players. Made me chuckle... Cos its also accurate.
Picked up cheaply, these clubs have low debt, moneyball recruitment...

…..I do think ‘Originals’ should also apply to us being a founder member of the game in this country, not just the original team in the city. I think it’s something we should be very proud of and communicate more.

They have two of the worst full backs I’ve seen in a long time, and the goalie isn’t much better. Nothing to fear, but we need to make sure we don’t do something stupid to help them.
