Looking forward to your lot coming to Cov in a couple of weeks. Shame it isn't at Goodison but I'll be a Bournemouth fan again this year so I can experience her once last time.
How many do you think you'll bring down?
Really looking forward to the weekend. I'll be there for my first game at Goodison, getting home tickets was a pain so I'm in the away end. It would have been great to experience the Gwladys but I'm looking forward to the away fan reception.
Recommendations on good pubs, away or home? Providing...
I've been a long time stalker of Everton for a while  (the team I always rooted for outside of Cov) but I've never been to Goodison. Since you guys selfishly stayed up last year and we bottled the play offs, my chances are fading.
I'm trying to buy tickets for the Bournemouth game but...
Fair points. I know we'll lose out on the assists but happy days if we can bring in a player for a 3rd of the price that can be a 1 in 2 striker.
He scored 7 in 17 with continuous game time and we've got a good track record recently of improving players.
Simms worth the 6-8mil thats been reported? I know he has strength but is he a good finisher?
I wish Everton would put in a bid for Gyokeres. It seems he has set his heart on going to Sporting Lisbon and they are starting to take the p*ss. We need a top flight club to pull their finger out...
I told Robins that was your offer, that's why he's standing firm for the £25m. lol
I'd like that if he hadn't already played for 2 clubs this season. I've accepted he's leaving, whether that's now or in the summer. It's unlikely we are going to push for playoffs so if we can get 20-25 for him...
I've been around for a fair while, Everton have always been a team I keep up with.
Robins has said he's not going but £20 million and I don't think too many Cov fans would kick up a fuss as that's a decent wedge that can be reinvested.
I think he would excel in a two, playing next to a poacher or a pacy striker who is going to be in the box. He can be a bit selfish but he's improved on that.
He's top scorer but his goals isn't even the only/best part of his game. He can bully and has pace to beat defenders (albeit...
He's awful, you definitely don't want him. :D
Its a big step up to the PL, it's best he stays where he is. Who knows he could be playing there next season anyway.
I think if he does go, I think it'll be a minimum of 12mil.
I don't think there is any real chance of that. We have loan payments/running cost to cover (we're basically self sufficient) plus we'd need funds to replace which that upfront fee wouldn't cover.
The only way I think SISU accept that is if the total fee is pushing the higher reported figure...
I do hope this is all paper talk as I think he's brilliant and will make another step up this season. I'm unsure whether he is ready for the PL yet but I think he will be come the end of the season.
£13-15 million and I don't think we could turn it down.
You can keep your hands off him!! lol Now that Burnley have a few quid back in their pocket they can stop being so cheap or leave him alone.
Though it would be a massive step up he is exactly the kind of player that Everton needs right now. He is a skilful player, his work ethic and attitude is...
