I think @PeregrineT makes a good point above that in order to get anything from Coleman as a leader he has to be part of the squad not one of the coaching team / management.
That rings true to me.
And I do think he can get on the bench still...
We dont know what he's been offered in cash terms.
Look at it this way: every player we have always says how Coleman is crucial to their well-being at the club and team cohesion. There's coaches employed by Everton who do a less important job...
I'm not saying they can't. I'd love both.
But an invisible owner who appears so far to be competent is better than one who loves the limelight but drives a club to extinction.
I guess Chermiti was unlucky to pick up an injury in the worst moment for him that set him out for several months. He looked very promising the few games before.
I dont think hes being offered a contract with him playing anything other than some spare minutes in mind.
I think its very clear they want a leader in the locker room, someone deeply respected to lay into the squad when the first half has been...
I and many others couldnt give a toss.
I dont care what they say, how many times they board a plane, how many statements they make, I just want them to put their hand in their pocket and STFU.
A lot like you really.
Correct, if you are going to put out bad news in the future, you start to soften the blow by getting people ready for it in advance. You dont put out a video like that...
