Based on that picture, the biggest problem with Dumfries would be the big space underneath him for players to exploit. Needs to be closer to the ground in my opinion.

Absolutely. Rather than cutting people who’ve done a great job and can still be called upon to do a job when needed loose, we need a continuous process of upgrading and rotating older players into squad positions. I think we’ll see Jake moving...

Being unsentimental I think he is a clear area where we could upgrade in terms of pace, distribution and decision making and he isn't getting any younger. I like his character and he's been good for us but we need higher level players to push on.
