We probably won’t, but 16th/17th/15th/13th in the last 4 years is really crap. I think we should demand and expect a lot better. Last night really wasn’t it.
Garner at LB didn’t really cost us in itself, he did well, but the absence of Garner in midfield definitely did. He’s not spectacular but his stock definitely rises when he’s not there.
It would point to a quite spectacular degree of faith in Dibling if we were to get him in and the need for the lad to make a noticable impact quite quickly.
Taken in context, I still think it's the wrong time for us to be risking it and more...
Its the old quality, to availability, to investment ratio mate - i agree with what you say - i dont think Dibling is ready to play 40+ games for us a season, in that sense its an odd choice and maybe a Kubo is the more immediate impactful choice...
I said this place would kick off after we lose to Leeds. Brighton at home will be worse.
We may even have brownhill on the bench as a token effort to appease the fans.
Which reports are these? Even if Dibling puts us close to the PSR threshold, we only have one loan in as things stand so we can play the loan market for another 2-3 as required.
