This belongs here, not in dead thread!
God bless Seán. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
How many knew he was actually born in Wicklow - Glenealy I think. @dublinbluenose @Armaghtoffee
@Neiler
I met him at the end of 2008 when he eS...
It was what stuck in my memory when I spoke to him....not likely to forget that!!
Don't know what age he was when he moved to SW Dublin.
His funeral and burial are in Glenealy.
Seems like it was a stroke...
I have a vague memory of him being involved in that pub now that you sat it. It was a couple of ex-garda involved. Someone from Eire Og in Greystones mentioned it too me I think.
Massively sad news, there is something really poignant seeing the greats from Heffos army moving on, giants of men in their day, tough as nails and probably the fittest team in Ireland ever - mo more then The Doc = ushering in that great Dublin...
Though less likely, I'm hoping we might be able to get a couple of loans done too by kickoff.
If we are to get 8 players, then a mix of something like 4 permanent / 4 loans seems plausible enough.
I'd like us to get our main business done first...
