My response may well be one for the awful takes thread but I hope the contract offers reflect the fact we were/are looking to add a few quality players for decent fees in key areas and trying to hold on to others as squad fillers.
I agree with you mate Keane is a much better player than most think on this forum, he gets far to much stick and is a scapegoat for most fans on here, get off his back and leave him alone.
In all honesty, barring any catastrophes he is hardly going to play... if we can bring in a RB, then I would be surprised if we see anymore than 5-10 appearances from Keane this year.
look at top teams and let's see who their 4th choice CB's...
i have a feeling we will get Harrison. His situation at Leeds makes it unlikely he can play there again and as such they would sell him for virtually pennies. He would go for about 8 million. Although I dont really want him here, he is a bit like...
I think you get Harrison for almost nothing, probably another loan actually.
He will sit on that big contract at Leeds for another 3 years, they’d be mad not to get him if the books for no fee or a loan.
If we wanted him - I’d be sitting on my...
Wouldn’t agree with you there mate, be Keane all day long for me and to be honest im surprised he’s accepted the role.
He’s fine, he’s not even 25% as bad as the hyperbole on here in my opinion. Is he Branthwaite - no. Is he capable of coming in...
Seen a few 'opinion' type pieces which have suggested that he might find a move later in the window as depending on how Moyes wants to go he might struggle for a starting place.
But, to play devil's advocate, would you be saying the same if that £5-6m went toward the £7m we are supposedly looking to spend on Jack Harrison? Bad players are bad players mate, however you dress it up.
