I wonder what research in sports psychology has to say about all this stuff. I do think fan reactions can indirectly influence outcomes to an extent. Not a huge effect, but in the right circumstances in a nail biter I think we can get into players heads.

This is just my opinion, but if I were fortunate enough to be at the game and I wanted to express my dissatisfaction I would just keep silent and not cheer. Booing my own colors just rubs me the wrong way personally and I think silence would speak volumes. Obviously boo if you think it helps...

Very mature performance. Knew when to take players on and when to pass out. He also showed a bit of scrap in winning the ball back on defense. Great all around performance.

I agree 100%. Minus the ultras part. Booing our own players during a match only hurts Everton. It contributes to taking away our home field advantage if there is such a thing.

I didn’t see the break down, but I felt this game would have been drastically different with converting chances or without Minas poor play and marking.

I think Digne gives us more speed and incisiveness on the counter. And we don’t lose any thing on defense.
