Watched him for the u21s yesterday. I think it will he a while until he's challenging Mykolenko for a first team spot imo. Obviously more about getting him minutes yesterday and getting his fitness up and running.

I don’t love Myko but he’s massively important. Have the feeling Moyes might play Garner at left back ahead of Aznou (even if he’s fit), and that hampers us enormously.

Phill Neville was bought for his utility, not as a specialist. Martina is classed as a centre back on his Wikipedia page. I think we’ve looked more for players to cover multiple positions including right back than actual right backs.

No idea why we were trying to loan another LB, doesn't make sense, especially given the player in question. The lack of a RB is just mad it just seems to go on and on, I refuse to believe there is nobody we couldn't have brought in.

Mate, Lampard just didn’t fancy him as a player when he first arrived. In the following season he had him in the team. I’m not sure why anyone would bother disputing it. Anyway, we need him, so hopefully he steps up when he has to this year.
