Yep. Suddenly signing a player for £30 million and then immediately loaning him out (when we desperately need a player in his position) is absolutely normal for us.
I find it hard to believe that there is any truth to a rumour we will spend 30m to then loan a player to Roma. It makes no sense to me and I don't like it.

I thought we may do some transfer shenanigans with Roma and I have to say I hate it. The multiclub model is a stain on football but sadly needs must in a landscape dominated by it and other dodgy dealings.
Are we really though in the eyes of the Freidkins? They travel to Roma quite often yet they haven’t been arsed to turn up once at our gaff since they bought us.
I couldn't see this happening unless we got a player in exchange that we would use.
I find it hard in general to see deals being done between the clubs over time. Not because of raised eyebrows, more that a deal that suits both clubs at the same...
Some bedwetters in here. Even if this is true, we’re likely paying the fee over instalments. Roma will then likely pay us loans fees back. And if we still go about our business who cares.
Wesley is a very good player. So it’s good he’s linked with us. Can’t really see how this story could ever be true though. We are the iconic club in their ownership group now, not Roma. Any diddles would work the other way round.
