Right back is vital. The wingers we have all want to do similar things. Someone running behind with pace and putting a cross in would be very useful.

There has to be interest in the players you're moving on. The likes of Patterson and and Chermiti are unlikely to have been top of anybody's lists but teams may be interested now as the deadline gets closer.

I'd be amazed if we signed Fofana now, and not necessarily in a good way. We've signed 2 wide players since we were linked with him, it's no longer anywhere near a priority position to strengthen.

The size of the squad is actually alright tbh. It’s just we have players that Moyes may not fancy in the team in Patterson, Armstrong and Chermiti. I’m sure we are trying to replace all 3 but don’t see the numbers increasing now.

Here's my issue, he's on 90k pw so we will have to at least match that, he looks on the slide physically. He plays DM yet is a rubbish defensive player - and if he arrived then that's "the DM sorted" when we will still have a huge weakness there...
