They hit the woodwork twice, missed a pen and Welbeck somehow missed an open goal. There’s no doubt that Brighton were the better team, especially in the first half.
I guess you weren't there then? No way were Brighton the better side. Try and be a bit more positive. Someone else earlier said he is dreading the Wolves game in case we lose. Dear oh dear.
I'm not sure that's really what we'd be doing though. I can't imagine why he would swap his current role at West Ham to be a back up player here, and as we could really do with strengthening the starting midfield it would seem an odd one to just...
By the same token, we've not conceded an open play goal in 2 games without him. Our defensive record is down to much more than the individual quality of the players in the back 4.
I've seen him a fair bit, i'm just saying it's not clear to me what it is that is putting teams off but it's definitely something because he's 23 and has 4 seasons of regular football behind him without anyone making a move for him. If he doesn't...
Yeah, I'll be honest I've watched him and thought he stood out a mile in that division but you're right, there has to be something there that I'm not seeing for PL teams not to take him.
I don't know what this is, but he's clearly not as much of...
I haven't watched enough of him to know what it is, but there's evidently something about him that top level clubs aren't sure about. He's been knocking around for a while without a big club moving for him, so clearly something is putting them off.
The squad should be strong enough to win this one with numerous changes. Happy to see the likes of travers, aznou, mcneil, Armstrong, and Alcaraz come in from the weekend. I’d keep Barry in as it’s a chance for him to get off the mark.
Well yes that was the entire point being made. It’s not a criticism of him, the point is we need to find a way to get him into positions where he can do the most damage.
