Players who are nailed on to come into the first team. This lad will probably be sent on loan again.

You’re setting up a lot of straw men here. My view on young players is that some are obviously special at a young age (Rooney, Barkley, Rodwell) and clearly have the potential to be England level players with the right application. They are the...

He has 81 pages on his own thread. People were saying he was levels above anyone else in our midfield last night. Everyone needs to calm down on him. He’s shown very very little as yet to justify any degree of excitement. I’m more excited about Tim.

Mentioned him before. Get him. If he's the same player at Villa then it will be another who is class on the transition. Ideal for the type of play we should be using. Not the big name (as you say) but someone who we all would open our eyes a...

I think you are right, but its has ability on the ball really. Juventus & Man City & Brazil play WITH the football most of the time...and truth is he was good at Villa as they played without it most of the time...and thats his best asset realy, I...

I think what my fellow toffs are referring to as a marquis signing is a player that was previously of reach and elevates Everton’s new status in obtaining them. Like Robinho in early days Man City, for example. That type of global level.

You don't have to read the entire forum, but when a post is a reply to someone else I'd say it's probably worth reading the original post so that you understand what the conversation is actually about before you jump in.

😂 Calm down mate. No, I don't read the entire forum before responding to a post. I'm not shocked that you're no shocked that he's not being linked to Real Madrid. Most people take it as red that we are not in competition with those clubs for...

Unless you'd put Michael Keane and Kylian Mbappe on the same level, you've probably answered your own question here.
  • Lanolin
It is good. Again, the point is only that I think people are slightly overegging what level of player he is not that he's not very good.
  • Lanolin
Yes, exactly. It's a signing i'd be really happy with, just one that I wouldn't be absolutely astonished we'd pulled off that's all.

Yeah I think that's fair. He's not an 'elite' player but he is probably the top level of player that we could reasonably attract at this point in time At his best he would massively benefit our midfield and instantly be our best midfielder.
