    ….Turkey last month, in Cyprus at the moment, it’s really hot and we’re just heading to the bar. We’ve got a fortnight booked in Kos in September. It’s ok this retirement job, probably do Dubai or Abu Dhabi in Jan/Feb :cool:

    Posting from Rhodes at the moment,🍺🍺off to visit my daughter in the IOM end of July then off to Mexico end of September then back to daughters in IOM for her birthday in October. Busy next few months 😜😜

    Cannot go anywhere for the next (up to) 5 years. When you're on the Mayo transplant list you're "on call" 24/7 and need to be close to the clinic. Fun.

    I've heard but isn't it very humid during certain parts of the year given it is very low lying? Wouldn't mind Florence, though.

    Just watched Equaliser 3 (with Denzil Washington) which was filmed primarily on the Amalfi coast. I would live there tomorrow, absolutely beautiful.

    I think compared to previous seasons we've done ok with having the tougher games a bit more spaced out. Don't see any death marches like we had last season (at least not on paper).

    To be fair I think we've got a decent spread of games over the season - it's not as if we have to play all the 'big' sides at any point during a compressed time period. So really cannot complain but would have loved to be presented with the PL...

    Leeds and Villa after Habib Diarra. He’d be a great signing and you’d think Gana could put a word in. We are still in talks with Gana apparently. The Everton transfer machine continues to move forward at a glacial pace.

    There is nothing wrong with a bit of pomp and circumstance. Occasions like this make for a great show, especially when the RAF join in. Nobody is forced to watch it. But many do still enjoy it, so it remains relevant and will continue.
