It's concerning that it's Bascombe saying that. I can't conceive of a world in which both Michael Keane and Jack Harrison are still in the squad next year. Complete and utter dross.
I’ve just wasted 2 minutes reading that Everton have been boosted in their chances of signing Timothy Weah as he told his mum he would always wear number 22, which is available at Everton but currently taken at Leeds. How could anyone pluck up...
But, to play devil's advocate, would you be saying the same if that £5-6m went toward the £7m we are supposedly looking to spend on Jack Harrison? Bad players are bad players mate, however you dress it up.
Really poorly thought out post, mate.
Firstly - We can all have room for both. We can be gutted on a daily basis for those being killed and subjected to horrors around the world, and also mourn the loss of a young lad with 3 kids.
Secondly -...
Resigning Harrison genuinely wouldn’t surprise me at all and is something I’ve been half expecting, but it would be an absolutely colossal reality check on just where we are and what we’re trying to do if it happened. Even when I’ve thought about...
If we’ve built up a recruitment team that can’t find a better prospect in world football for £7-£10 million than Harrison, then it was a complete waste of everyone’s time.
We shouldn’t take Harrison even if they pay us £7m. He just isn’t good enough for even what we were the last two seasons let alone what we hope to become.
Harrison is good depth. Certainly not a starter and certainly would not pay much for him, but if he is on clearance and it doesn't prevent us from other targets I am not opposed.
