They both deserve to be there, same in any cup competition. Think the point a few are making is, they are two poor teams where one of them can end up in the CL next season. Thats the rules set at the start of the season which is fair enough, no problem with that.

Just saying they are not having a 'freak' season as you put it. They have had three poor seasons in the league.

Not really matey, 6th and 8th prior to this season, they are on a downward spiral, but winning the EL will probably put them back on track sadly.

The Europa League is a failsafe for the 'elite' clubs imo.

Yh really, and probably also will finish below as their focus now clearly is on Europe. Doesnt really bother me Utd as a club doing well-as it winds the rs up- just that the team is crap.
