It’s a deceptively tough course, a mix of trail and fell. That first mile or so uphill is killer too 😮 Lakeland trails events are the best, they cater for everyone from the elite, to those that walk around the course 👍

Wanted to take in the scenery, but too much looking down anticipating the next rock. Still it's done. Have Keswick booked in September, but that depends if the blues are playing at home or not

Grassmere Gallop 17K this morning. View from the top of the fells over Grassmere. This would be a great race for anyone wanting to try out trail running, a real mix of trail, rocky stuff and roads 🏃‍♂️
