My brother in law has played against him a few times in one of the local leagues in East Yorkshire. Said he`s just a natural at anything with a ball, with his hand to eye and a good player, even at his age. Very nice guy by all accounts too.

This, prone to a world class save and a world class flop right after it. The most vulnerable keeper to a shot from distance too it felt like - the amount of "goal of the month/season" compilations we're the wrong party in because of a goal... -

I think he was good enough that we didn't need to sign a keeper desperately, but not top tier

A good keeper but the bar at this club is ridiculously high. And with good reason. Only a few clubs can say they have had truly World Class keepers and following that is almost impossible.

From Everton Results; On this day in 2016: Tim Howard plays his last match for us in our 3-0 home win against Norwich. It’s his 354th Prem game for us, the most by any Everton player, and he keeps his 116th Prem clean sheet – again a club record.
