The penalty Spain were awarded looked a bit iffy, you could see Armstrong making his point to the referee as Captain , not successfully but good experience for him and a measure his temperament has improved . Last season he was a bit more rash...
Yeah when he came on he was given the captain's armband - passed it to him even though the lad starting as captain stayed on.
Shows he's the proper captain of that side now which has impressive indeed.
He could get over 3000 mi utes in the Championship play first team football
As a previous poster said it’s all about minutes minutes and more minutes
The more he learns both from the good parts of his game and from his mistakes
10/15 mins here...
I called him that because I didnt know and can hardly remember my own name (chemo brain fog).
Lots of posters here know 10 tomes more than me and I love finding out stuff I didnt know
Villa haven't just had a bad start they've been shocking so far this season.
Lost to Palace 3-0 in Birmingham, beat by a really poor looking Brentford and got hammered but scraped a draw v Newcastle due to Newcastle having Gordon as there only...
I can see him scoring the winning penalty against England in a World Cup final as I wipe and tear from my eye and whisper “That’s our boy. That’s our magical, beautiful, lanky, German boy.”
Imagine Isak slips while getting off of the crapper later tonight, and he tears his groin muscle so badly that he’s out until early next year… At the very least.
That would be absolute comedy gold!
One can have a little bit of hope, like? 😉
What a transfer window for the lads. Done everything we possibly can to stay up imo. Filled the gaps we have, and on paper seemingly signed really good players.
Yeah you did a mix of things, brought in experience, brought in some players with a lot of potential, and taken a few punts - Brobbey I thinks a punt that won't come off though.
Your results at the SoL should see you alright this season though...
