Campbell has already been in the academy for a number of years, he is at the stage now where he needs to play real football if he is to progress further. The loan in Scotland playing adult football with a club struggling against relegation but...

blueblue replied to the thread 2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane.
Tarkowski and Branthwaite have been the first choice centre back pairing now for some time under both Dyche and Moyes. If either of these was injured last season then it was a choice between Keane and O Brien as replacement. We know that O Brien...

If anyone has been played it's Fulham, they have had to pay significantly more than they wanted for a player they already had. A player with relatively little resale value and a questionable injury history. Our situation was different. We chose...

Christ. Bit of sweeping statement. I'd suggest Brits are way worse, more ignorant (see above), less refined and bigger helmets by far. More Helmuts in Germany though 😉

He really ruined the careers of Jarrod Bowen and Kudus at West Ham as well.

If he goes to Germany and does well, many of the top English teams will look at him in a year or two. None of them will look at him after playing a year or two for a team managed by Moyes. That's the unfortunate truth. Using your logic , I am...

Which of the two league do you think players would want to play in?

Is there a reason why a player who, by all accounts, is signing for Sunderland has his own thread?

True, but I expect there are cluses in there which will allow him to leave including a release clause which will kick in at some future date.

An astute move I think. Having him around the training pitch with all the new blood coming in will be a good thing. I don't expect him to play too many games, but his involvement around the club will be a great asset. Hopefully, we'll still be...

In reality we can have more than 25 players. Armstrong will not be included in that number , not sure if there will be others.

Let us all agree that despite people thinking they do: 1: Nobody know what wage he is on. 2: Nobody knows what his playing role is set out to be, compared to any coaching responsibility. So, those that are bed wetting over this. Take a step...

What he brings to the team and represents to the club is priceless. We would be foolish to have not extended for another year. I am made up with the clubs decision.

There is a huge difference between the influence a player/captain can have on a squad compared to any coach. They are like chalk and cheese. The player is in the dressingroom listening to the players , hearing their problems and helping sort...

The worst kept secret really. Even if he doesnt make the pitch all that often anymore, he clearly has plenty of influence off of it. Has never been on a big wage either. I'm more than fine with it personally.
