I've tried not to get attached to players ever since Rooney left us. Dom leaving certainly doesn't change that, but I wish him well as he's a nice lad who's put up with some horrible abuse from the gammons for more than not being good enough for us.
Business wise it's fustrating to see another asset walk away from the club for free.
Footbal wise it's hard to fault the lads effort when he played but injuries took their toll and he never really kicked on developmentally.
We can do better and...

Maupay has never really had any injury issues. Was 3 years younger and even though his record weren't great, he'd still outperformed Dom's last 4 seasons in his time at Brighton. 26 goals in 3 seasons vs 17 in 4 for Dom.

I like Beto and i think in the right set up he would thrive, however I’m not sure he’s the sort of No9 Moyes wants so I can’t see it tbh.
