Everton FC investigate homophobic chants from own supporters vs Chelsea

Most of them should have been. In those days, however, the authorities were just as blindly bigoted as the average fan on the terrace. Has the world moved on? Quite a bit, though judging by the lack of insight of some of the posts on this thread, more clearly needs to be done.

    Colin Harvey-75 today.

Sublime ball skills and the instinct of a terrier. Memories of Colin and Bally are just about the only reason left for supporting the now shambolic set up.

Was Bill Shankly Right About Everton All Along?

You have a very generous take on the man and his times. Sadly, like very, very many other Blues, I disliked him intensely when he was alive and I see no reason to change my view of him now.

    2019/20 Marco Silva

Don't believe the club has had a manager worth their salt for about ten years. The current bloke is a real chancer.

Weird and wonderful places youve tuned into an Everton match.

In an intensive care unit in the late 90s, though truth to tell, it was someone else who tuned in to it then put the headset over my ears. It did not end well.

I really remember the '67 final and Tommy Gemmil's goal in particular. Was also lucky enough to have witnessed Billly and Jinky Jimmy play for Scotland in Wales. Fine days and we'll find no finer! 10 titles, bhoys!
