Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all ,I am hungry reading back on those posts and we weigh ourselves Thursday moring so no chance of bacon on toast yet .So sad to hear about Nathan Patterson ,I think he has been top notch and although we have Seamus it is a big blow to a very balanced defence.
I hope all slept well and have a fine day .Not far to go now @fandjango ,I just couldn't contemplate that journey .We chatted last night and I would need three or four long stops to do that but the wife won't live "out of a suitcase " so they would have to be days in between .
And it is scon -surely.

Had a lovely meal out. Had garlic mushrooms, vegetable penang curry with rice and chocolate brownie. No meat products at all.
Just reading about Patterson. We are cursed.
I could never give up meat completely, but I've been eating more and more plant based meals recently. Delicious and very good for you. Had a lentil curry last night and I eat Poke Bowls regularly, which basically can give you your whole 5 a day in one meal lol

Shame about Patterson. Wondering if Stanley Mills might get a go.

Same here. On both subjects. I have been making an effort to eat less meat and try to have at least one meat free day a week. I reckon I could give up meat if I continued to eat fish - bacon might be a struggle though.
I was wondering if he would play Vinagre in that position.

I was reading something I think it was in National Geographic that humans evolved from primates mainly because at some point we learned how to cook meat which enabled our brains to develop more or something like that. That puts me off giving it up completely. That and the fact I love it obviously lol

Yes I forgot about Vinagre, maybe more likely to play than Mills.

Apparently a bacon roll is the downfall of a lot of veggies, that doesn’t bother me but the one thing I really miss is melton mowbray pork pie.

I had a go at meat free but I eat frozen a lot and I just couldn't find enough good choice, I said before, I don't mind Quorn but Linda McCartney and plant chef leave a lot to be desired. Although I did have a chick pea and lentil tikka masala last week. I do buy stuff like bean burgers. I was very much a carnivore so even what I do now is a lot better.

Gutted about Patterson, that's defender number 4 we've lost since the season started. We must be due a bit of luck or are the posts and crossbar taking it all lol

Not great weather today, even D only wanted to be out a short time, it's very dark out. Hope everyone is doing ok I know some are having a difficult time.
