C'mon, Lads and Lasses we are better than this. Everton are renowned for being a 'class apart' from others irrespective of political or religious leanings. It won't kill us observing a minute's silence, surely? And OK, I açcept the National Anthem is a step too far and the Club needs to understand that.

My own view , is that this is a personal choice issue.
I am conscious of the media pressure over this , and the probability of them trying to highlight any perceived anti royal feeling.
My own view is that I will adhere to a silence , but asking anything more by the club is asking for trouble.
Armbands for the players etc., a silence observation , but absolutely nothing more.
