Still no widespread reporting of the large numbers of rs fans who were left stuck outside the ground at kick off - not quite the same scale, but very similar to what happened at the Paris CL final last season? Why aren’t the pinkies threatening to sue everton and the pl for what happened?
We must ask ourselves What happened to create this issue, yet again with Liverpool fans, at a stadium that has had no significant issues with away fans gaining access to the ground across multiple fixtures in league and cup matches for umpteen seasons?
Was it Algerian/Somalian French local youths causing chaos and trying to force entry into L4 4EL as they did in the French capital - always a distinct possibility I suppose, they do get everywhere these lads, maybe even a quick day trip to Merseyside just to cause trouble for the pinkies isn’t beyond them?
Was it a poor ticketing system at Goodison, which failed to operate correctly (even though it has worked fine without any issues for numerous previous matches, just the same as the system at the parc des princes?).
Another strong possibility it would seem, and obviously systems can crash or fail at any time, although myself and the rest of the home supporters managed to get inside Goodison without any issue in plenty of time for kick off, just as the Real Madrid fans did in Paris!!? Confused - I am.
I mean, it couldn’t possibly be that massive amounts of fake tickets & ticket holders were present and numerous blaggers managed to gain entry using a fake ticket, resulting in genuine ticket holders not being allowed access and Everton having to close the turnstiles to physically inspect every ticket to prevent yet another catastrophe inside a football stadium?
That couldn’t have happened could it, just the same as it didn’t happen in Paris, to the same set of fans who were innocent victims there?!?
I mean, I just don’t understand why I have not seen any demands from the spirit of satan, the club or the two MPs who so vociferously fight on the clubs behalf, for a full investigation and apology as they did in Paris - it can’t have been the lfc fans fault, it just can’t have……
