Really, okie dokie I will at some point, thanks. I definitely want a refund, not giving money for a dangerous product. It isn't a brand name kettle but it certainly wasn't any cheaper it falls in the mid range I'd say, so pretty peed off.

Mind you my fridge and crap vacuum are both Russel Hobbs so I'll be swerving them from now on as well.

Our next door neighbour was also a Conservative Councillor on Liverpool City Council. They do indeed exist. My Dad is one! My Mum preferred David Alton (lovely man. David Alton was my MP, running up to the 1979 election I saw an old classmate leafleting and canvassing for him. Said classmate is now Baron Rennard of Wavertree.

It's premier was only a couple of weeks ago Blue so won't be available on other channels for a while yet.

If the fuse has blown could you not fit another plug on it or get a lead from a second hand shop .At least try to test the kettle.

The site I use refers to the IMDB ( movie database ) , they show everying that is out now but as you say there might not be a freebie ready yet . Can you iron with one hand and type with the other ?

If the fuse has blown could you not fit another plug on it or get a lead from a second hand shop .At least try to test the kettle.

It hasn't just blown, it's fried, the inside is all black and it melted the fuse cover. It is also new so absolutely no way will I put another plug on it, it needs binning it is a fire hazard.

Also the plug is moulded onto the wire, not just a case of taking it off, It would need cutting off which will make it even less safe.

I think I will contact amazon, like has been suggested, shouldn't be having to fix brand new items to be honest.

Oh absolutely and there's the time waiting for the replacement. Could have been catastrophic in your case. Could have burnt your house down. You could get cross and outraged at that possibility, demand a new one and "no way you're wasting time returning a fire hazard that nearly killed you". Might work?

No ironing for me mate. I found some older shirts that now fit me again and don't need ironing. And my neighbour is doing the rest ?

I don't iron basically BJ. I live in shorts and t shirts in the summer and jeans and the t shirts in the winter. Now and again I'll wear a smart shirt and I have about 10 waiting to be ironed. But now I've lost weight I have a healthy supply. In fact some of the shirts waiting to be ironed are probably too big for me.

I don't iron T shirts, shorts, jeans, jumpers (which you don't really need down here even in winter) or undies. I don't even iron sheets or pillow cases.?
