Dele was a gamble specifically by Lampard and has turned out to be a potentially expensive error of judgement. Have to take into account he took over on the last day of the January window so was scraping around it find whatever he could.

Only Everton’s board could make paying £2.8 to someone to play elsewhere seem so shrewd ??
