Just like with all players in all sports, you ignore their annoying little habits when they are playing well, but when they get old and the form slips, they just become tired and annoying. For example, if we had Messi, he could ****ing tweet from the pitch as far as I am concerned.

I think were being at bit harsh here,he's been great for the club, and ye his best are behind him. But to have a pop at him is i think a bit out of order just because we are playin sh!te.

He's actualy quite funny on twitter!

As a player for Everton, I like him. Can't knock his commitment for the club since he came. Been a great signing by moyes IMO
Yes best days are behind him and I don't think he should be playing CM unless an absolute emergency (maybe not even then) but I still think he's our best right back, the team play better when he's there and I don't think it's a coincedence that coleman has been **** whithout Neville behind him!

Model pro, conveys the kind a attitude and commitment that can only have a positive effect on the youngsters, in fact I could even handle them all using his hairdresser if it keeps them on the straight and narrow. He will go on to manage, possibly alongside his brother I reckon.

I am really starting to dislike Neville, I hate his daft soundbytes, I hate the fact he's on twitter, I hate the fact he said he'd pull the team off the pitch if he heard a racist comment from fans or players, I hate fizzer18 daft ****ing name that, I hat that he's a ridiculously sub par midfielder.

All this and I loved him 6 months ago pre-twitter but tbf he's just become a bit of a knob.
I'll still support him when he's playing but I just can't help thinking he shouldn't be.

.....and he has a nose like a carrot.

and that be LTblue's sunday sermon, amen.

You hate the fact he's taking a strong anti-racist stance? Nice one.

Great thread, by the way.
