Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I have a fridge you can have mate. Will even arrange delivery. Well, its my elderly Mum, who is down sizing and has no need for it in her new place. But it will be a few weeks, at least, till she actually moves. Let me know anyrate.

edit. Its an under the counter size, with a small freezer section.
Blown away at your generosity Roydo, I've PM's you. I don't know what to say, you're a life saver.

Morning everyone, been a bit manic with my thoughts the fridge situation couldn't have happened a worse time.

I have a saviour in Blue who has just lifted a lot of that stress off me. This thread is just so awesome, good good people.

Seems she is breaking the mold ..There is a certain solemnity expected from our country leaders… many around the world get into the position way after most of us are expected to retire from the companies we’re at..
so female and young… thing is as long as she is doing a good job then nothing should stick.
We all need to unwind ,I don't understand the fuss as she is well loved here and as sharp as a tack. The politics here is as far as I can see a lot more civilised than the UK .When I was a lad and there were no mobiles it would have happened and nothing said about it , it all went on and has for time immemorial nothing changes .

I too was blown away and nearly said you should "chill out " but it seemed inappropiate ,hee hee.

Morning everyone ,

Terribly , terribly sad news overnight of the murder of the little girl in Dovecote . What the hell is this world coming to ?

Been up and about early today - gym session and mum's weekly shop done and put away.

Just had a cup of tea whilst I scrolled the pages for news of Gordon and transfer news.

You just can't refuse that latest offer and we just have to pray that they now bring in the right replacements.

Very funny seeing Klopp and the RS implode last night ( decided to turn it on when I heard they were 1 nil down !)

Great news that @Terrarian is soon getting a new fridge thanks to the fabulous generosity and kindness of @roydo . Restores your faith in human nature stuff like that.

It does and I'm so grateful. More than I can express in words, I wasn't far off having a complete meltdown with everything else going on, or not. That reminds me @Sassy Colombian the guy who was doing my health check was on sick, not ideal but I guess can't be helped. just doesn't do me any favours.

Chico got me thinking yesterday about our little corner of the internet where we all feel comfortable chatting without fear of a load of harassment or abuse and it suddenly dawned on me that being a tw@ online is a choice a personal choice, you don't have to be a nob, our thread proves it for me as it is well respected on the site due to Karl and people don't cause any hassle in here.

Begs the question what on earth do people get out of being complete arses because they're anonymous.

It is such sad news about the little girl. The world has gone mad. Yesterday was the anniversary of Rhys Jones death. Seems like not much has changed.
I watched last night's match. Klopp is deluded if he thinks they should have won. TTA was shocking and even Carragher criticised St Virgil. Made for excellent viewing!
I agree @jazzy We can't refuse £60m for Gordon. Get it done and bring in a striker. I actually wouldn't mind Ivan Tony or Ollie Watkins. But we'll see what happens. I wonder if Aubameyang would come!:D I was reading about him and apparently he is really lovely, completely sound, but late for everything. That's what annoyed Arteta so much. Many of my friends have that trait. It drives me nuts but their good points outweigh the bad.

It does make you think and I have been guilty of it .Yes the anonimity is the cause but as you say what do we get out of it ? I as a previous offender can say that I prefer this coffee bar attitude ten times more .It is the people who frequent this thread that make it ,Karl started the feeling and it has grown so much from there . At first it was concern for him but now gladly it is concern for anyone who has the courage to share ,the gift this morning was a superb gesture that lifts the thread even higher .
Well done all ,with a special mention to the ladies as it is them that remind all the boys when we need to remember a day or date .

I have to confess I hate tardiness , if they have me waiting it drives me mad. So much to do in life than wait pointlessly . If they are not going to be there just tell me !! Rant over .

We've probably all been a bit snark with someone or lost our temper and said stuff we wouldn't normally; It's the ones who do it as a hobby, trolls I guess, constantly trying to be internet keyboard warriors. I try if I can to treat people as I would in real life, with respect but sometimes it's difficult and some people just need telling where to go lol

I hate late people, I am punctual to the point of OCD. If i have to be somewhere, say a job, regular, say I start at 9, I'll get there for 8.45, all good you say, it is but then i start being punctual to my punctual time.

So say I was setting off at 8.15, I'd eventually(well within days) start setting off at 8. It's terrible and I end up being that guy who waits for ages...

It is one of my bizarre character traits, I have a feeling the diagnosis are not over yet and more will be uncovered as i go in therapy ffs lol

@Terrarian and @blue1948 I'm exactly the same. I would rather be two hours early than one minute late. I had a friend, sadly no longer with us, who would organise a lunch date or a night out for our friendship group and would always at the last minute decide she couldn't make the time she had organised and would be late - usually by hours. Union meetings were a nightmare too. Start at 10 usually meant 10.15; there were even folk ( and the same offenders every time) who, even after a 15 minute break, would come back after 20. Does my head in.

I find it incredibly rude. Fair enough a few minutes isn't bad but people who are consistently late seem to me to have an attitude that their time is more valuable than yours and it's fine to leave you waiting around.
