I am optimistic about the whole club ,not sure why with Frank as he hasn't done anything yet -may be that is a little unfair with our signings -happy with the recruitment and really believe we will be top half for sure perhaps pushing for Europe . We bought Fellaini last minute of a tramsfer window and I am sure others ,I might be stupid but there is something about the place that makes me smile this season. It's the view that the world will end if we don't get a striker in before the next game that I find slightly amusing. I'm not sure if it's just impatience or fear that we miss out altogether that's the key driver. TBF we have ended other windows without bringing in our main target , such as a striker and indeed a right back. But I just feel as though this window is different in that there are so many links. Bottom line is that I'd prefer we took our time and got the right player, rather than rush something through and get it wrong.
When you say you are optimistic Blue, do you mean for the transfer window, or the season or both?. What do you think a decent season looks like, assuming we bring in Gana or similar player, and strengthen our attacking options?
