Are you looking to pay a subscription? I am assuming that you are of Irish ancestry (sorry if that is wrong of me) if that is the case then Findmypast is the best for Irish records. Ancestry is pretty comprehensive too, it’s the one I use, I also did their DNA test. This article lists some websites that you might find useful.Grateful if you recommend me a couple of sites please as it’s something I’m curious about.

With a subscription is it straight forward thing to trace the tree in that it just gives you names and then signposts you to how to find out occupations and other stuff?
