The Silencing (2020)
An alcoholic reformed hunter looks for a murderer who may have kidnapped his daughter 5 years previously while a local sheriff looks into overlapping cases. Not terrible but seen it done better and the film does have a couple of very irrational plot-driven character decisions combined with near superhero recovery from injury in a couple of cases.
Nice moody backwater ambience and short enough around the 90 minute mark but ultimately very meh.

What a wonderful man Sam Neill is. I tried to order one from a Norwegian movie store when I first read about it on here, but it seems I was too late as well.
It’s just gone onto Netflix.
I‘m saving it for a night when my missus goes out on the lash with her mates and leaves me in peace
