Good morning all on this dull and dreary day here in Finland .@barnfred you miss out on so many tasty fish if those bones put you off ,have you not eaten sardines ?

In an unusual, but welcome turn of events, my younger brother said he'd take me out for a meal & drinks on Friday.
He's only in his mid 20's and suffers badly from anxiety and finds leaving the house for long periods of time or being in crowded places very stressful. So it was great to actually get him out for the night!
He finally decided to stop smoking weed a couple of months back and it's amazing how much of his self esteem has come back since.
Like, I've always been of the mind it should be legal, but there's not doubt in my mind it can certainly exacerbate existing mental health problems for some people.
We had a good night, ate some great food and then drank far to much craft beer in a local microbrewery bar
Then spent Saturday visiting my mum, and spent the evening watching old comedies (Police Squad!) ,drinking even more beer and she cooked a roast leg of lamb with all the trimmings... good job I'm not back in work 'til weds as I need the extra days to recover!

Morning all, hope all are well. Grandkids 1 and 2 have asked if we will take them out for the day, so to prove there are no hard feelings regarding the anti ageing cream we’ve agreed. Harry will be 14 soon so it won’t be long before he’ll consider himself too old for a day out at the seaside with the oldies so we’ll make the most of it while we can. We’re off to Hunstanton which hopefully will be a bit cooler than it will be here. I just need to raid my piggy bank as I suspect I’m going to need quite a bit of change for the arcades! Hope everyone has a great day and good luck with painting your bottom @blue1948 .Now where’s my bucket and spade? lol ?

Yes you are right Blue. I do like sardines but they need to be filleted and you rarely get that. Morning Campers. Another beautiful day down here. Might take a walk down to one of the beaches then back home for a barbie.
Hopefully we'll have a confirmed signing or 2 today. Seems to be quite a few rumours going around about a much needed striker too. But I was in the Mina thread earlier. I love the guy but am as frustrated as anyone at his persistent injury problems, especially as he is such a good footballer, personality and leader. But I just couldn't believe the vitriol and hate being displayed in there. Similar stuff going on in the Keane, Gomes and Davies threads too. Just makes me incredibly sad

I used to love going to the slot machines in Paignton when I was a kid! Have a lovely day!
Don't like bones in fish like Mackarel but no issue in small Sardines or Whitebait.
