Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Monkfish would go well with that.

It certainly did. Takes a tad longer to bake as opposed to a filet of cod or haddock, but then far more meatier on the plate. The first time Nikki did it, for when me Mum and Dad come up for an outside feast in the orchard, was with Monkfish.

In some idle chatter, we often wondered if we could could make a bistro work on her/our home cooked food. Thing is, neither of us had a particular sweet tooth, nor could bake, so we concluded it would be a bit one dimensional!

Fraid not Sass. He's now having a torrid time with Hells Granny. Something to do with anti aging cream I heard.
If this makes you feel any better I bought some new sandals for summer. They fasten across the top of ypur foot. The fastening is velcro. Charlotte: 'oh God Mum, have you reached that stage in your life - velcro shoes" cheeky beggar!

How thoughtful and very clever of Harry ?

How is everything going with the bullying, has the situation improved?

The bullying situation had improved towards the end of term, thanks. There was a bit of name calling from one boy in particular (you’re a ginger gay etc.) but for once Harry stuck up for himself and asked why it bothered the boy so much and he stopped after that. The threats of violence with the bat stopped, the bully got a talking to and Harry was moved to another sports group. Fingers crossed things will be okay when school returns in September.

Welp, I am officially in the final year of my 30's ?

In an unusual, but welcome turn of events, my younger brother said he'd take me out for a meal & drinks on Friday.
He's only in his mid 20's and suffers badly from anxiety and finds leaving the house for long periods of time or being in crowded places very stressful. So it was great to actually get him out for the night!
He finally decided to stop smoking weed a couple of months back and it's amazing how much of his self esteem has come back since.

Like, I've always been of the mind it should be legal, but there's not doubt in my mind it can certainly exacerbate existing mental health problems for some people.

We had a good night, ate some great food and then drank far to much craft beer in a local microbrewery bar :D

Then spent Saturday visiting my mum, and spent the evening watching old comedies (Police Squad!) ,drinking even more beer and she cooked a roast leg of lamb with all the trimmings... good job I'm not back in work 'til weds as I need the extra days to recover!
