I remember Kendall putting together the 80s team and half the players you where scratching your head why at the time and then you saw why as he was picking players knowing how they'd alter what he wanted and fit into the whole rather than as an individual

This is it mate, its all working according to a plan. Rather then the scatter gun approach that has dogged us.

Its like someone sat down and actually planned this out.

Im not expecting it to be prefect, but im hoping it will be better and more importantly more balanced, we've been missing players in key lines heading into the start of the season for years under different DOF's.

People dont like Kev becasue he looks like someone you'd bump into at the chip shop in Runcorn.

Its all about 50 year olds with ripped jeans and white trabs for some.

Its crazy how much opinion in football is covered by media profile and image these days.

Take the Brands documentary - wtf, was that about.

Imagine some of kendalls signings today of it was this era some mad ones who were head scratchers until they played and just melted like butter into the squad
Incredible how he managed it GENIUS

The Internet would break with the fume

The likes of Dele and McNeil I could hdbe seen him going for tbh, he liked trying to turn a player around who'd been written off after being a star when younger (Reid/Gray)

Thelwell is just as useless as the last fella. We needed a striker, any striker in all summer and now we are 4 days away with having to play Dele as some make shift forward. Utter shambolic planning from the surprised D.o F

He’s not really let’s be honest here, considering just last week we got 2 signings done fairly quick something Brands could only do on Deadline Days

Man’s also working with a lot more restrictions than Mr Ripped Jeans did, it’s clear we are after a striker it’s more a question of can we get a deal working in our favour either via loan with option or straight buy with reasonable upfront fees

I don’t care how he signs one, whether it loan, free, money. His job is to strengthen the team. So yeh he is just as useless
