Think for Dobbin it would be a lower championship side team at best and although the standard of opposition would be better than league one a year playing attacking football and winning games at Derby is arguably better for the development and confidence of an attacker than a year feeding off scraps in a relegation slog.
The amount of disrespect the lower league gets from PL clubs fans is mad!
Playing league 1 football at 19 is incredibly tough, someone like Louis Barry couldn't make the grade last year so had to drop down a league to Swindon in January

Players such as James Maddison, Harvey Barnes, Brennan Johnson, Gavin Bazunu, Keane Lewis Potter have all played in that league at 19 and are better players/prospects for it!

He has already played over 100 games in the Championship like, 15 games for Ireland too

I've only seen him play a couple of times and he seems a decent player, but I think people are forgetting the enormous step up. I'm not sure it's reasonable to expect a player who got relegated from the championship to be an immediate success in the top flight.

I thought the same, bit disappointed he's off to league 1, tbh.

To be fair, Derby may be in League 1 but they'll have the status of a Championship club still whilst down there due to the expectation and fanbase surrounding the club. Put it this way, I'd much rather him at Derby than in the Championship proper with some plodders like Rotherham or similar.

Pretty confident we will add another forward, even if it’s just a late loan or the likes of Batshuayi as a backup. Get the feeling we’re being held up in that department waiting for Chelsea to decide their plan for Broja who it seems is our first choice.
I hope so ! Not too keep on Batman , but let's be honest... he's gotta be better than Rondon.
