The midfield is dreadful on paper and on the pitch , defence dreadful on the pitch, upfront is up in the air in more ways than one. If pickford has a brain fart season we are in serious trouble. A lot of work to do.

Is a no.6 really a priority? I’m sure Allan could fill that role, Gbamin as back up and Davies for as much as he’s not good enough, can fill in if things blow up injury wise.

I’m reserving judgment on this signing purely on the basis it’s not Richy’s replacement and that it’s to add more options within the squad.
If it is the only forward we bring in then I’ll be gutted!!
I’m guessing most are thinking the same on this.
