Yeah, a bit early to start a match thread but; A charity fundraiser organised by Everton in the face of what seems from the outside as turbulent times for the club.
I know the mood on here is low sometimes and people get very frustrated, but, this is what makes your club great, this is what makes you stand apart from the mammon steeped rabble.
Well done Everton. Have a great night and raise a load of dough for a brilliant cause.

Second.... (getting there!)

However, I have an anniversary dinner with the special lady. So can only be there in spiwit.

should really get put on tv to raise a bit more money, if any other team no doubt sky or someone would have put it on

Confirming our status as the finest charity in the Premier League.

As usual with Everton, it seems we cannot be competently and professionally run as well as being good in the community. As a consequence, our "good deeds" can sometimes come off as slightly cynical PR exercises designed to mask a deep malaise. And this is before we mention board members and sponsors on sanction lists. If it smells of cynicism and looks cynical, then, well, it's clearly just for a good cause.

Thought the visit to the George Floyd memorial a bit weird. Paying respects to a criminal, a man who held a gun against a pregnant woman’s belly. That should of been left well alone, went down like a lead balloon for majority of USA followers…

Another game at Goodison to attend before we shut the gates for the last time in less than two years, hopefully it will be full capacity and we can get a result to help build confidence before the Chelsea game.
