Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

It was a beautiful Lorna Bailey vase so yes , she's still upset.

Anyway just been watching the news and those dinosaurs in your cathedral look fantastic.

Are you going to see them?
Seen some Lorna Bailey on Bargain Hunt they are stunning designs can see why she is upset. Hoping to take granddaughters to see the dinosaurs in the holidays, they look very impressive. The cathedral has had some great exhibitions Tim Peakes’ spacecraft and the Moon are just two. This picture of the Moon doesn’t do it justice really.EE65FFD9-F0C3-41FC-8F98-C394DEBCCAD2.webp

We could have a ginger date night

So, as a solution, it seems that Showcase have decided to a helping hand by offering free cinema tickets to redheads so they can chill in the cool, air-conditioned space.
Mark Barlow, UK general manager for Showcase Cinemas, said: “While the UK enjoys some much-needed sunny weather, we know how hard some people find the heat.
"That’s why to tackle the heatwave, we’re offering red heads free entry to our cinema screens this Monday and Tuesday, so they’ll be able to enjoy some of the amazing films on offer in the comfort of our air-conditioned cinema screens and ensure they stay protected from the sun."

Presumably that's the dark side H. ?

Actually quite stunning.

Well that was a crap afternoon of sport.

Rory and England , both bottle jobs. Luckily the Tour was good.
Yeah. Went out for a couple of hours to cook tea and when I came back in both the cricket and golf had gone south. Following Lancs on Saturday it hasn't been a good weekend for Sport. Also realise what happened with Lancs now. I thought they were beaten by 4 runs but now understand that the final wicket was given a no ball. FFS they couldn't even take advantage of that lucky break.

Morning all, just been out in the garden enjoying the cool air, the best bit of the day! Waiting for Harry to arrive - only three days this week hoping they are good ones for him. @blue1948 love the Repair Shop especially Will ?. So wrong I know I‘m old enough to be his gran. :( . Have a good day all, ?
Weather's been lovely down here. Able to sit out yesterday in comfort. Bit of cloud cover and a nice breeze. Today might get towards 30 though but I still don't see it happening. Tomorrow heavy rain forecast whilst the rest of the country melts. We could do with the rain. May walk down to the beach this afternoon if it doesn't get too hot. I was put off yesterday by the forecast but it was lovely.

Hi everyone ,

Well it was supposed to be a warm a muggy night so I got rid of the duvet and just had a sheet and woke up freezing !

Gorgeous morning , warm but certainly not hot. Lovely time to be out but then again it is only 7.30am !

Unfortunately have to take mum for an X ray this am but apart from that will stay in the shade. "Only" forecast to be 32 degrees here so whilst I wouldn't work in the garden in that it is bearable.

For those of you further south and east ( @Gwladysover ) be vey careful today and tomorrow.
