Get the feeling you're still butt hurt from that transfer. We were 'very confident' of signing Luis Diaz last summer. Look how that turned out.

'Proven' is such a bs tag tbh.Never seen him play so will reserve judgement but cant help but feel that there must be a player on the mainland who we could bag for £20-25 millions and be more proven than this cat.
Hopefully he's joined by a Gallagher or Zinchenko in the midfield.
Do you mean this:Why is everyone talking as though we’ve signed this guy?
Besides a certain Twitter account which might not be the best source to believe, anyone of any credibility running with this?

He just plays the soccer with an impish mind. The ball drops and he’s nicked it between your dog of a midfielder’s legs before he’s even had time to swipe. He’s always on the move, a natural hustler. Plays with a great amount of finesses although you can’t deny he’s a product of the streets in his tenacity. He’s a smaller but more effective Ross Barkley, with a brain.
His time served against gnarly defenders in the Championship serves him well and he lit up that league, with impressive goals and assists throughout. If he was coming through Everton’s youth you’d be raving about him, him ending up at Everton is very welcome and he will bring the energy and creativity that we lack in the final third. He’s a baller with a touch of Hollywood and one that will not require an adaptation period to the league or country like many of the others we will be linked with. He’s 22 years of age too so only gonna get better.
Thelwell has used his contacts and previous to make this his first statement signing and it’s a very good indicator indeed about the type of football and characters he wants Everton to play.
I’m typing this so I can vault myself in about 9 months when he’s not settled at all and Everton stare relegation in the face for splurging their money on players like him. You’ve been warned.
2nd paragraph - keep up. Would it be sensible to sell Gordon to Wolves on the basis that I’ve set out?I've no idea what you're even asking me there.
I'm finding it tough to reconcile the twin strands of your alter ego's Twitter wind-up and this effervescent praise (with final paragraph caveat)...He just plays the soccer with an impish mind.
