Transfer Rumour Morgan Gibbs-White

My guess is we will use both loans trying to get options with both to spread the cost to next season (Gallacher we will 100% hold a spot for in that regards until deadline day if needed) And try use whatever we have to buy 2-3 more, no idea if we'll loan from abroad or not.

My best guess would be try buy MGW and possibly Gilmour (or loan winks) Loan Gallacher (with option) and try bring in another cm.or forward.

Still wouldn't shock me to see a deadline day bringing in of Gueye either on a late loan.
It points to not a lot of activity between now and kick-off. Maybe two signings by then and another two on deadline day. I'd probably settle for that now if it transpired. It isn't going to be hectic, we know that much.

Foreign players have to adapt - takes time and some don't ever (a lot don't in fact), pace of the game is also hugely different - Allan looks brilliant in Italy, and too slow here, same with Gomes just can't play in this league, look at some of the huge money transfers from France lately - Chelsea, Arsenal etc where they just busted out msssively.

The idea that there's way more value for money abroad often doesn't hold water.

This lad has over 60 top flight games already, and in a near promotion side was their standout player - always a big sign of quality.

Is he worth 25-30m - probably not right now, but he's a better risk than buying two vlasics hoping one will succeed
MGW 60 Championship games + 46 Premier games under his belt. Gordon 49 Prem + 11 Championship. Still some want to argue that Gordon is so much better. #BlueTintedSpecs

So what we're saying is he can't get a game in front of 74 year old Moutinho, so we're going to buy him for £20m+

Superb.

Hopefully it would be one step closer to the exit door for Tom Davies if this lad joins.

It’s odd though that we seem to have lots of players who all want to play in the 2 attacking mid slots in a midfield three but not many who can play DM. Doucoure, Allan , Dele, Iwobi, Davies, plus MGW if he joined, are all best in the attacking two positions.

We’ve only got Gbamin who plays the DM position and Allan as inadequate cover before we’re looking to academy players or Holgate.

We'll loan a DM I'm guessing. This lad can play as a 10, box to box or off the right it would be a good signing for me.

I think this is one we get over the line, and he’ll be a good player for us. Do like the idea of a 3-4-2-1 similar to what Spurs play with the two #10s behind the striker. Gordon could play that role too, and it would suit Dele.

Did you just say Davies and Allan are best as attacking midfielders?

Worrying that Wolves don't want him?
A risk in my opinion as a direct Richarlison replacement.

Popped into the Wolves forum and it seems the drive is coming from the player not the team/fans wanting to include him

There is also a contract issue of two years left and not wanting to sign a new one. So it seems they may be willing to cash in while they can
