Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

They also sat right in front of me too. Couldn't make it up.

Was sat next to a lovely lady who lives near Penzance. Said she'd never been to Liverpool and was asking whether it was nice place to visit, whilst these morons were seeing who could shout and swear the loudest. I mean, what can you say.

Anyway, home safe and sound to a very warm and sunny Cornwall. Already got my shorts on and cracked open a cider.
No place like home hey Fred .

Not been able to tear myself away from the news in the last 48 hours.

Truly historic stuff. Got a call from a mate who was euphoric about BJ going.

Yeah it's good but it's like watching your house burn down. Eventually you douse the flames but then worry about what's left and how many of your possessions you can salvage.

This clown can do a lot of damage in the next 3 months.
My neighbours son told me when he picked me up from the airport. Thought this thread would be in buoyant mood.

The man's a clown and does and says incredibly stupid things, and has no right being an MP never mind Prime Minister. He's also become a hate figure across the country. He always was one in Liverpool but outside of thar bubble many people liked his oafish character for some reason. When he lost the general public backing he had to go and its taken too long to come about.

I'm happy he's gone but now worried about who we get in his place. If you look at why public opinion changed on him, its all to do with his behaviour rather than his policies, certainly since he started taking notice of his wife and dumped Dominic Cummings. His policies, for a Tory PM, have been more Labour like than Tory. U turns galore but generally got there in the end. Hopefully his replacement will come from the one of the red wall constituents, or at least somebody who is sympathetic to their cause. I do worry though that the traditionalists will come out on top.
