Not been able to tear myself away from the news in the last 48 hours.

Truly historic stuff. Got a call from a mate who was euphoric about BJ going.

Yeah it's good but it's like watching your house burn down. Eventually you douse the flames but then worry about what's left and how many of your possessions you can salvage.

This clown can do a lot of damage in the next 3 months.

If it helps ,when I was growing up and met kids who had lived in many places they always impressed with their wider knowledge ,this will be very useful later in life especially if it means they have learned another language to boot .

It almost backfiring this language thing.. 3 years of Swahili, 2 years of Afrikaans and now 2 years of Setswana… they clueless!! Swahili was a cool language… decided they need to focus on French as the 2nd language which they will take to whatever country is next for us.

Agree. It's utterly fascinating and compulsive. I'm not sure how he can function for the next three months without a mandate from his party. However such a relief that he's going. Hopefully to fade into obscurity. Wonder when Carrie will bin him off. The niece of a friend works in the House of Commons and reckons Carrie is the most ruthlessly ambitious person she has ever come across.

So the Queen better watch her back ! So glad BJ has gone although it means little to me personally ,I just hate the lies they proffer and that sadly includes the lot .

Was sat next to a lovely lady who lives near Penzance. Said she'd never been to Liverpool and was asking whether it was nice place to visit, whilst these morons were seeing who could shout and swear the loudest. I mean, what can you say.

Anyway, home safe and sound to a very warm and sunny Cornwall. Already got my shorts on and cracked open a cider.
