Gallagher is a very good footballer, works hard off the ball, tenacious.. should be going in for him if he’s available.

Lampard will demand it, he's used to top class players and won't want to go into the new season without added quality. I am hopeful there will be a number of surprises this summer, we had to sell richy to balance the books plus I'm not overly bothered. Replacing 10 goals isn't that difficult if you do your due diligence and for a lot less than 50 million.

I think it's fair to say that we have absolutely no idea how much money we have to spend on players this summer... I wonder if that will help us negotiating deals?

Since Moshiri came in, with the exception of the last 12 months, selling clubs have seen pound signs in their eyes whenever we enquire about a player.

I imagine our well-publicised issues will have changed that.

And the fact that it's in the public domain that we are struggling with ffp...

We need to hope that Rondon comes into form and that Calvert Lewin has a good season.

If you told me that we had to sacrifice Richarlison for finances but will start the season with Tarkowski , Zinchenko , Gallagher ( on loan ) and KLP I'd take that.

Only problem is , it won't happen.
