Duncan Ferguson Moving On

I guess him personally recommending Ferguson makes the stories of him offering Dunc a position at Real Madrid seem more believable, they clearly struck up a bond. Dunc should have taken that opportunity if it was offered, this past season at Madrid would have been a great experience for him. Hope he does well at Blackburn and becomes a boss manager, would be the dream (an unlikely one imo) for him to become a good manager and then take the Everton job in the future.
Just like Howard Kendall.

Are you serious he may have been interviewed for the job but Blackburn's choice was to go with an ex player we all know how many times that happens in the lower leagues, I'm not saying that I don't think he should not leave but lets not just criticize the lad without facts
How many years has he been here though? He easily should of found a real job by now then come back with experience.

Don't disagree that he may have over stayed his welcome but we have no idea if that's true never mind what Davek says he may be good at what he does as very little comes out of the club FL did compliment him after the Palace game, but you said zero ambition because he wasn't given the Blackburn job

What does Ferguson do at Everton FC now, he’s been in the background for the last three months, surely he finds this embarrassing, his sense of pride should make him walk away.

I dont know and neither does anyone else outside the club , just because he sits further back doesn't mean he doesn't contribute, I'm not saying that he's the best of the best it was just the term lack of ambition regarding not getting a job that got my goat

To be fair i was saying it in general but not specifically about Blackburn, but maybe if he had of got a smaller job, such as when Steve Watson went to Chester, he might of been in a better place to get that job

I hope he does leave and proves some wrong when the right club comes along but i very much doubt many on here would just walk away from a pay slip because of pride until they were fixed up with something else, he may have been pushed out more by FL we just have no idea
