I think my big issue with Kenny is that he's never really improved and kicked on

Some of that isn't his fault. Being parked behind Cuco Martina stunted his growth at a critical period in his development and he just never got the groove back

Considering his age and the fact he just hasn't really improved, I honestly don't see the point in offering him a new deal when he's out of contract and we could use that extra wage allowance elsewhere

Nkounkou and Patterson may be younger and less "proven" but they also have way more upside

We know what Kenny can do and he's "meh" at best. They at least have the potential to kick on and become better than that, so let's roll the dice on them and give them a go rather than clogging up the books by giving Kenny another 3 years

Nothing against him personally as he does try hard, but after a certain point you have to cut the chord you know? It's not all his fault, but we're coming off a Survival Season and we need to start being more ruthless to avoid it happening again

He’s a free agent now and since January any club was entitled to talk with him, for free. No queue round the block all the same.

Yes Iwobi is also overpaid and we’re stuck with him on inflated wages until his contract expires also.
