Zinchenko coming from City to us at all, and then people saying for £10-15m. Same price as Kenny according to some on here.
The forums head has deffo fell off.
Our fans definitely have no sense of reality.

I mean that statement is one of two things:

Richarlison has told the board he wants to go and won't be signing any further contracts....

Or

He wants a new contract with a buyout clause for certain clubs and assurances over the mid term plan to move us forward.

If it's the latter the contract has been agreed and he's been told to keep hush until the club are ready to announce it.

Shouts about zinchenko aren't bad...
Don't forget delph played lb for them but showed when fit he was arguably one of our best cm
Slightly different insofar as he was a CM when they signed him, and kind of fell into their backup LB role and did well.

I could be wrong but I don’t think Zinchenko has had any kind of run of games at CM in the PL. Their backup keeper would probably be an improvement on our midfielders, though, tbf.

Thats just what the Athletic have said.

Zinchenko for anywhere between £10m to £15m would be a good pickup. He'd slot into CM as the more left-sided in a pair or a trio and do a decent job.

Look at it another way: Delph's finished, we all want Gomes gone and if some Italian clubs ARE looking at Allan for the rumoured £10m then I'd sell (because of his age). We need a couple new faces in midfield and Zinchenko strikes me as good value for money.
If that's only the asking price, yes good deal. I am not sure though and his wages. I could see him being used as a DM with his experience.

We had DCL and Richy and failed to capitalise because of our chronic mismanagement and recruitment, we have to reset now.

It's not loyalty I'm talking about I agree with you there, it's wanting first team football but I can see the attraction of the flipside of getting well paid to sit on a bench most of the time playing in rotation and collecting medals if that's what you want to do it's a good life and looks impressive on a CV. But how many years has this lad done that already? Depends on his motivations for the rest of his career he clearly wont be first choice and you might strengthen again pushing him further down the pecking order. I doubt we can afford him right now anyway. Personally I would like to go for a younger DM who specialises there. Neville had a decent swan song with us, no he didn't win trophies but he was a captain type who played regularly compared to being mainly a sub at United, some players like playing football above all.. You can win trophies and not play much but some players like to be first choice/start games.
Can't disagree with you there but I'm unsure about you saying "a younger DM." Don't know if you're aware but Zinchenko isn't a DM(6), that's if you was implying that?

Yeah I guess the suggestion was if he did he would be coming here to play more in CM and as a left back or left wing at times, but fair enough...
