Some tit-head on channel 5 news just bleating on about how it was the worst experience of his life and that the fake tickets issue is all lies. Some front them.

Disgraceful from him, just completely ignored the blag ticket questions.

Byrne was on the news stating that the authorities need to learn from this, but doesn’t mention that clearly blag tickets and fans without tickets have helped cause these problems.

I don’t think anyone is saying that the police and uefa have handled some of this very badly indeed, and need to take stock of how to do this going forward, but it’s the complete lack of any accountability from the entire rs fanbase and the whitewash that is ongoing by the rs infested media that is really shocking, especially considering the tragedies that the club have been directly involved with - it just beggars belief.

No doubt innocent LFC fans got treated badly - just blame the Parisian police for forged tickets plus the fans trying to rush the barriers ....?

It's just never their fault on every major incidents in history relating to football ......

This is one occassion that the coppers deserve praise.

Whatever it took to stop the Kopites creating another stadium disaster has to be fully supported. Sorry about the collateral damage to innocent people, but those French riot police probably saved hundreds of people's lives there last Saturday night.

Do better planning to anticipate the issue and stop it escalating would have been a good start - there seems to have been very little prescreening of tickets for instance.

I agree that there is a lot of deflection going on among their fanbase but that doesn’t mean that there aren’t faults elsewhere either.

Better planning was clearly needed . but how come after all the prestigious events held at that ground . That the only major issues involved Liverpool fc ?

I want to agree with you there, but I cant. Their loss has brought this into focus, imagine the whitewash if theyd won it. par for the course. normal service resumed. dangerous and underhand and disgusting and entitled. Its a big slick of fecal that runs through their entire club and it stinks and is only getting worse. Shame on them all, every last one. Not a word yet against the hooligan mob that caused it. Shambles.

They deffo haven’t died and their relatives deffo haven’t kept the tickets on to sell on for profit..
So age means using new mobile phone technology is difficult and that’s why they need old paper tickets.

Anywhere they were stood up to would have been a flash point or a sidestep. They went for trouble and found it. Now its everyone elses fault again. Shame the fences climbed over werent electrified.

Christ. Just tuned into talk-bollox on my way home. Oh my days - they have flipped the entire incident on its head. Liverpool fans are without blame and it’s all entirely the fault of the French.

I see that LFC have also deployed their enforcer Murphy to ram gone the message - the ugly little goblin.

I felt like throwing up after listening to so-called independent pundits slate the French and totally airbrush the facts regarding fake tickets and 40K vermin without tickets trying to force an entry.

They control the media and they control the narrative.

The blame isn't totally on them but the media narative has them as totally blameless which definitely isn't the case.
There obviously was a lot of forged tickets which definitely caused the delays at the turnstiles.
They never accept their share of the blame for anything which has them as the boy who cried wolf in the eyes of supporters of other clubs up and down the country
