Insanely brilliant in Goodfellas felt he peaked with that though, sad news.
I read the book Wiseguy long before it became a film but unlike many films based on a book it didn't disappoint , Ray Liotta was brilliant and probably didnt reach the same heights in other films
Saying that he was great In that feel good movie " field of dreams"

RIP to a top draw actor who for me will always be one of the greats

Found myself surprised and quite saddened hearing about Ray Liotta but really guttingly affected by Andy Fletcher’s death - and I only quite liked Depeche Mode back in the day. Probably because he was only 60 and wasn’t obviously a hellraiser.?
Just got in and Mrs M said someone from Depeche Mode had just died, my response was David Gahan?
More shocked it wasn't him if I'm honest.
R I P Fletch.

Just chatting with someone who worked closely with Liotta on the film "Operation Dumbo Drop".

He said that at the end of the film, he asked his driver what he actually wanted to be. His driver said that he had wanted to start a restaurant in his local town, and Ray asked how much he needed. The Driver didn't know. Sure enough, within a few days of leaving Vietnam, Liotta sent the guy $25,000 to get his business started.

Good man, RIP.
